Raid Times and Signup
Starting the following reset we will have the raiding times as follows -
1. Sunday - Invite time 18:30, People not online by 18:40 will be replaced and penalties will be handed out for being late. Raid start time 18:45, Target is to have a 2 small breaks during raid, after the breaks we will continue the raid till 23:00.
2. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - Invite time 19:30, People not online by 19:40 will be replaced and penalties will be handed out for being late. Raid start time 19:45, Target is to have a 5-10 minutes break halfway, after the break we will continue the raid till 23:00.
People not online 10 mins after invites without notifying any of the officers/class masters before the invite time will lose their spot and will be penalized. Not being online within an hour after invite start is counted as a no-show and will also result in DKP penalty.
2 backups will be chosen and confirmed by the officers and have a 'backup' note. They are expected to be online/on vent/in touch so they can log their main to replace someone when needed. They can do whatever they want as long as they are reachable (notify and officer/rl how!) and will be online and ready to join within reasonable time (~5 mins). Backups will gain 50% of the DKP for that night.
We expect everyone signed to be online! Being signed means as much as saying 'I'll be there' so unless you unsign, you will be penalized.
The idea of having a break about halfway into the raid is that this hopefully prevents people from afking at random times, or at least reduce it to emergency cases.
With that being said, we would like to remind you about our DKP/Raid-Planner policy -
1. It is expected all raiders will be signed to all raids on the planner. As a reminder, you can sign to multiple raids at the same time by ticking the flags below the calendar and checking the Signup option. (you need to have your character set as default for this to work)
2. Sign up to raids should be done as one of the following states -
Signed - Available for raid.
Unsigned - Not available for the raid.
Not Sure - Might be able to make it to the raid, but not sure at this point. Please set a note and update your status as soon as you know.
Not Signed - I am too lazy to update my status.... no raider should ever be not signed for a raid! DKP penalties will follow. This does not apply to the Member rank.
3. If you sign to a raid as signed you are expected to be online and ready at invite time, even if not confirmed! Should you decide not to come, remember to unsign or you will still count as late/no-show. Use the time from invite to raid start to move to the raid location and get ready for the raid, do not wait in IF for a summon while others do the job for you!
4. Raid sign-ups are locked at 20:00 the night before the actual raid, you are expected to sign before this deadline, if you missed it for whatever reason, use the shoutbox on the forums to let an officer know you can make it. We will usually confirm 2 people as 'backup' and set a note, those people are expected to be ready to replace someone (so we need to be able to contact them over vent/wow/...) and will gain the same dkp as the other raid members.
5. Vacations - please make sure to set your state to unsigned for raids taking place while you are away, also use the AFK thread to announce your vacations/AFK's beforehand.
Raids
1. Have your gear enchanted and gemmed, get glyphs - nothing much to say about this one really, you all know what are the enchants/gems/glyphs best suited to your class spec, make sure to use them!
2. Glyphs and Specs - Make sure both are sorted to best fit your raid role. As a DPS you are expected to have the spec that yields the best possible DPS or the combination of Raid utility and DPS if requested by your Class Master/Raid Leader.
3. Professions - Profession related buffs provide a nice boost in stats, while some professions provide more boost than others, it is expected all raiders will have their profession at a level providing the max available buff. Herbalism is the single profession providing no raid buff what so ever, and it is expected to not be used as a profession on a raider.
4. Have consumables ready for use! - While not always required on farm content, it is expected all members of the raid regardless of rank will be using the best available consumables for their role on progression/hard-mode raids (Flasks/elixirs, potions, prepots). [Fish Feast] is normally available before each boss fight, that does not mean you shouldn't have your own food in case feast is not available or any other reason. Whenever else requested by the Raid Leader, we expect you to use these consumables. Not using flasks/elixirs/food buffs repeatedly will also result in a DKP penalty; no DKP will be earned by the player for the affected bosses or even a whole raid. The loot priority of the player is also lowered.
5. Off-spec - Off-spec is there for a reason, if you take off-spec gear please make sure it is in proper shape (as in enchanted/gemmed etc) if you cannot be bothered to invest in it, dont expect to keep getting off-spec gear as we better DE it and use the money for Guild Bank.
6. RS 25 and ICC 25 are official guild runs, we expect you to not get saved. This does not apply to the Member rank.
Please follow the above rules to assist us making the raids much smoother!
